The post-production stages

Picture edit
Reframe, stabilise, correct image defects, slow motion and speed-up. Catching up on what could not be obtained on set.

Cut
Shot choice, joins, pace, transitions. This is where it is decided whether a video is watched to the end — long before the effects.

Compositing and effects
Green-screen key, rotoscoping, superimposed plates, 3D elements. That assumes shooting conditions planned for it: we talk about it before, not after.

Grading
Colour correction, harmony between scenes, balance of contrast and brightness. The step that gives the image an identity and makes it hold on poorly calibrated screens.

Motion design
Animation of type, blocks, and graphic elements. Very effective to support an explanation in pictures: documentary, ad, educational video, product presentation.

2D and 3D animation
Full animated sequences or elements integrated into the shoot. The render is calibrated to your brand identity rather than to the trends of the moment.

You stay in charge of the project

Editing is a succession of artistic choices. Delegating them entirely often leads to endless back-and-forth on a cut that does not match what you had in mind.

We therefore offer to work with you: on-site sessions, commented intermediate versions, or simple validation by stages depending on your availability. Sound is treated in the same place, with the recording studio — that is what guarantees a perfect sync between picture and track.

What we get asked most

Do you also handle the shoot?

Capture goes through partner vendors. Anym takes on preparation, rush logging, the edit and post-production, as well as the sound side.

Which delivery formats do you offer?

The formats fitted to the intended distribution: web and social with their specific ratios, theatrical, television, or high-quality archive. The format is decided before the edit, because it conditions the framing.

Can you take over an edit started elsewhere?

Yes, if the rushes and the project are supplied in a usable format. Depending on the original software, a partial takeover is sometimes faster than a conversion.
