Why are your prices 20 % below the market?
Because a one-person studio has no sales team, no project manager and no office to fund. That cost structure goes back to the client rather than into the margin. The discount is applied mechanically across every service, from the median of the French market outside the Paris region — not case by case, and not depending on who is asking.
What does a website cost?
For a standard project, excluding VAT: site vitrine, 6 500 € à 9 500 € ; site marchand, 9 500 € à 16 000 € ; site éditorial, 9 500 € à 14 500 € ; refonte complète, 6 500 € à 10 500 €. These amounts assume a brand already in place, content partly ready and a calendar with no urgency — three conditions that move the budget more than the number of pages does.
Why a range rather than a price?
Because before seeing your content, your business rules and your constraints, a single price would be fiction. The range says what is reasonable; the quote comes after a scoping conversation, and it has no brackets left.
What does the stated amount include?
Design, interface work, development, testing and going live for the scope described. Not hosting, maintenance or third-party licences: the estimator prices those separately, because they are recurring costs and not a cost of building.
Are hosting and maintenance included?
No, they are separate options. Depending on the level chosen — from a simple launch to continuous care — they add a setup fee and an annual cost, which the estimator shows apart from the build budget.
Does an estimate commit me to anything?
No. It gives an order of magnitude in two minutes, so you know whether the project and the budget are in the same world before spending time on it. Nothing is sent until you ask for it.
